Furlough 2007

This is some pictures from our furlough in the states from June-September 2007. We had a great time visiting all our family and friends in the US!

I didn't get to take as many pics as I had wanted because of technical difficulty (BAD batteries), but I did get some, as you can see :)

This is a picture of one of my dad's parent's pets named Socks (you can see why!).

This is another pet, Tiny. It's interesting to note how NOT tiny she is :).

Actually, this is the van we used for travelling while we were on furlough. Very large, yes? :) We were blessed that the Jersey Village Church of Christ lent it to us.

This is the road stretching to the highway. It's about 3 miles out, then you have a few miles (forgive me, not good with distance) till Bandera proper. My dad's parents live in Tarpley.

This is what we call "The Big Bass". My dad and his siblings used to fish for Bass here, now we just swim. COLD!!!

We put in some wood flooring in my mom's parent's house. It was an interesting experience, but the fruits of our labor were plentiful :).
